It has nearly been a whole year since we graduated, and what do I have to show for those 3 years of intense study I hear you cry?
Well, I have completed a month placement at Dazed & Confused, last August, which was a brilliant experience. Not just because of the nature of the work, but also living in London and becoming one of those robotic commuters that we love to hate.
Back in February I began working at Rushmoor Borough Council as a graphic designer. The position is temporary - covering maternaty leave, but I am loving it . I am working alongside one other designer, James (who is very cool by the way!) and have been given the opportunity to work on a huge range of work!

4th May 2008
With only a few weeks til hand in, I need to think about what I will do after graduating... If you like what you see - then please give me a shout, I would love to hear from you.
Let's talk about my final major project.
Named 'Pause'
It is a book targetted at people who work and live in mainly London.
Being amongst the hustle and bustle of the city, we tend not to stop - being surrounded by the fast paced life which can drain us mentally and physically.
This book will explain the importance of 'pausing' and taking a well earned break to clear the mind and give us the chance to recharge our batteries. It will encourage my target audience to do this and integrate it into their busy day to day lives.
What do you do to take a break?
What do you see as the benefits of taking time out?
Any thoughts or input would be gratefully received!
